26 weeks, 6 days...

We had another doctor appointment today... Little boy decided he did not like the dopplar on momma's belly and would kick it away!  I'm not even sure she got a good heart rate reading on him but she said he sounded strong and healthy just from all the movement going on!  He was a bit of a wild man today... constantly kicking and moving.  Jarrod could see from my belly moving all over the place from across the living room... pretty crazy!  My next appointment is in 2 weeks and she said she will decide at that point, based on my blood pressure how often I will go back after that.  My BP wasn't too high based on normals but for me, at 130/76, it was a bit on the high side.  Hopefully this was just a fluke and not the start of a trend... we need this little boy to cook for about 3 more months!  It's a good thing the holidays are between now and my due date to distract me from getting impatient to meet this little guy!

Working on the Nursery!

The nursery is finally starting to look like a baby's room!  Jarrod and I spent some time last night working on Jarrod's vision for the nursery... he presented the idea to me quite a while ago and since I had no idea already in my head, I told him to go ahead and do it.  If you haven't heard, he wants to do the 4 seasons... each wall gets a season - Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.  The main focus of the room is the corner between Summer and Fall... a tree with different colored leaves.  We put up the tree last night and it looks so cool!  We also put the bedding in the crib just so it would look and feel like a crib and not just a catch-all storage place in the room!  I'm really looking forward to getting the room done before the holidays roll around.  Here are some pictures...

25 weeks down, 15 weeks to go...

Wow, I can't believe we are this far already!  We only have 15 weeks to go, which seems like a long time until I start thinking about all the things happening between now and then... There's not much to update on this week but I thought I would put a baby bump picture up this week...
